Barcelona has amazing beautiful park, which is one of the most beautiful in all of Europe — Parc Güell. I heard that it is planned to make the entrance fee. Although it is still not sure. We visited the city park during our November 2011 vacation. There you can get there on their own, getting public transport — bus or book a tour in Barcelona, during which a competent guide will explain the history and amazing facts associated with this place. Park Güell takes a huge area of Barcelona, about 17 hectares of land. The terrain is completely preserved, all the hills, streets. This is a very colorful park, visiting which you find yourself in the fabulous world — very bright and magical. Almost every tourist who arrives to Barcelona, do not miss a chance to make a wonderful walk in the park Güell. So we are one of the days of your vacation dedicated to visit the park. Through the internet we booked a transfer of Barcelona and in a few moments were at the gates of the park. The main entrance to the Park Güell in his own struck our fancy.
It consists of two unique of its kind houses. We can say that the two buildings are reminiscent in its design gingerbread houses of the well-known fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. Passing through the gate, we find ourselves in front of the grand staircase leading directly to the hall, called the «Hall of hundred columns». In the middle of the stairs to the railing is very cute salamander, all covered with colorful mosaics, the colors that shimmer in the sun. Against the background of salamander is photographed a huge number of people willing, so we had to wait their turn to get a charming picture. Park Guell, designed by the great architect Antoni Gaudí, and in 1984 was recorded in all the well-known UNESCO World Heritage List. «Hall of hundred columns» attracts attention, it has something typical of the architecture of ancient Greece. If you go over the top, we come to the central square with a giant curved bench shaped like a snake that lives under the sea. Dressing benches made of mosaic technique, which is present in almost every subject park. This bench is very comfortable, sitting on it, you can relax after a long walk in the park. On the square are placed whole groups of students, who also came on the tour. It is interesting to observe the slow movements of tourists.
Our walk was even more informative if we were accompanied by a Russian guide in Barcelona. However, we decided to make this trip alone. The whole park planted with beautiful trees, palm trees, bushes bizarre, different plants. Here you can relax from the bustle of the metropolis and enjoy the singing of thousands of birds. In the park, you can spend the whole day and not notice how time flew. The next time, when we finally meet in Barcelona once again, be sure to look at the Güell Park again.
